Frequently Asked Questions

Find clear answers about buying CS2 skins, payments, delivery, Steam login and support.

General Information

CrystalSkins is an online store specialising in CS2 (Counter-Strike 2) cosmetic skins. We supply weapon skins, knives, gloves and other in-game items directly to players. Every item in our catalogue is owned and supplied by CrystalSkins, so you always buy directly from us at a clear, fixed price.

No separate account is needed. Sign in using the official Steam Login button on our site — this uses Steam’s own OpenID authentication, so we never see your Steam password. Your Steam profile is used to identify where your purchased skin should be delivered.

We carry a wide selection of CS2 cosmetics including rifle skins (AK-47, M4A4, M4A1-S, AWP), pistol skins, knife skins, gloves, SMG skins and more. Our catalogue is regularly updated with new releases and popular community-favourite designs.

Yes. All transactions are protected with SSL encryption and processed through verified payment providers. Steam login is handled entirely through Valve’s official authentication system. Our support team is available to assist with any issue and we stand behind every order we ship.

Use the search bar at the top of the site to jump straight to a weapon or skin name, or browse by category and filter by wear, rarity and price. Each product page shows the key details so you know exactly what you are getting before checkout. New arrivals and community favourites are added regularly, so it is worth checking back often.

Payments & Security

We accept all major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard and American Express. All payments are processed securely through our trusted payment provider; your card details are never stored on our servers.

Absolutely. Every checkout session uses SSL/TLS encryption. Our payment processor is PCI DSS compliant, which means your card number, CVV and expiry date pass directly to the processor and are never visible or stored by CrystalSkins.

All prices on CrystalSkins are displayed in US Dollars (USD). Your card provider may apply a conversion fee if your account is in a different currency — check with your bank for details.

Yes. We regularly run sales and discount events. Visit our Discounts page to see current deals. Subscribe to our newsletter to be notified of upcoming promotions.

Declines can happen for several reasons: incorrect card details, insufficient funds, your bank flagging an unfamiliar online transaction, or a temporary processor issue. Double-check your details and try again. If the problem persists, contact your bank first, then reach out to our support team.

Orders & Delivery

Most orders are delivered instantly — the Steam trade offer arrives within seconds of your payment being confirmed. In rare cases, Steam’s trade system can introduce a short delay; please allow up to 15 minutes before contacting support.

After a successful payment, we send an official Steam trade offer to your account. You’ll receive a notification through Steam — simply open it and click Accept. The skin will appear in your CS2 inventory immediately after acceptance.

First, check your Steam trade offers inbox — the offer may already be waiting. Also confirm your Steam inventory is set to public and that you have no active trade restrictions. If nothing arrives within 30 minutes, contact us via the Contact page with your order ID and we will resolve it promptly.

Because most orders are fulfilled within seconds of purchase, cancellation is generally not possible. If you placed an order in error before a trade offer was accepted, contact our support team immediately and we will do our best to assist.

A pending trade offer is most often caused by Steam Guard trade holds. If you recently added a new authenticator or changed your Steam Guard settings, Steam imposes a temporary hold of up to 15 days for security reasons. Make sure Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator has been active on your account for at least 7 days before purchasing.

Account & Steam Login

Click the Sign in with Steam button in the header. You’ll be redirected to Steam’s own login page where you enter your credentials. CrystalSkins never handles or stores your Steam password — authentication is powered entirely by Valve’s OpenID system.

Yes, we strongly recommend enabling the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator. Without it, Steam imposes long trade holds on incoming offers. With Mobile Authenticator active for at least 7 days, you can receive items with no hold delay.

A Steam Trade URL is a unique link that lets our bot send you a trade offer without needing to be on your Steam friends list. If prompted during checkout, you can find yours at Steam → Inventory → Trade Offers → Who can send me Trade Offers?. Copy the link and paste it into the field provided.

Never. CrystalSkins will never ask for your Steam password, API key, or any Steam credentials beyond what Steam’s own login page handles. If you receive any message asking for these details, treat it as a phishing attempt and report it to us immediately.

At this time, purchases are delivered to the Steam account you are logged in with at checkout. If you need a skin sent to a different account, contact our support team before placing your order and we will advise on the best approach.

Troubleshooting & Support

After accepting a trade offer, Steam sometimes takes a few minutes to reflect the new item in the CS2 inventory screen. Try relaunching CS2 or switching between inventory tabs. If the item is still missing after 15 minutes, contact support with your trade offer confirmation number.

We apologise for the inconvenience. Please contact our support team with your order ID and a screenshot of the received item. We will investigate and make it right as quickly as possible.

Try refreshing the page or opening it in an incognito/private browser window. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then reload. If the issue continues, please let us know so our team can look into it.

Because CS2 skins are digital goods delivered instantly to your Steam account, all sales are generally final. However, if you experienced a technical error — for example, you were charged but did not receive the item — we will issue a full refund. Contact support with your order details and we will review your case within 24 hours.

Use the Contact Us page to submit a support ticket. Include as much detail as possible — your order ID, Steam username and a description of the issue — so we can assist you as efficiently as possible. We aim to respond to all requests within 24 hours.

Product Info

The float value is a number between 0.00 and 1.00 that indicates the exact wear level of a skin. A lower float (closer to 0) means less wear and a cleaner-looking skin; a higher float (closer to 1) means more scratches and wear marks. The float determines which wear tier the skin is classified under.

CS2 skins come in five wear tiers: Factory New (FN) — float 0.00–0.07; Minimal Wear (MW) — 0.07–0.15; Field-Tested (FT) — 0.15–0.38; Well-Worn (WW) — 0.38–0.45; Battle-Scarred (BS) — 0.45–1.00. Factory New is typically the most sought-after condition.

StatTrakâ„¢ is a feature found on certain skins that tracks and displays the number of kills you’ve recorded with that specific weapon. The kill counter resets to zero when the skin is first equipped. StatTrak variants are rarer and typically more valuable than their non-StatTrak counterparts.

Yes. All skins sold on CrystalSkins are authentic CS2 items — the same designs and quality you would get from opening an in-game case. Buying from CrystalSkins means you know exactly which skin you’re getting, at a set price, without the randomness of case openings.
